Deal or No Deal (Australia): The Unluckiest Contestant Ever

PLEASE READ THIS VIDEO DESCRIPTION BEFORE ASKING ANY QUESTIONS BECAUSE IT JUST MIGHT ANSWER THEM! Do that not just in this video, but in any video you watch on the web.In July 2006, Josh Sharp created Deal or No Deal History in the most amazing fashion. Host Andrew O'Keefe cannot hide his astonishment. Here is the most unlucky Round 1 you will ever see. Many thanks to the old GameShowVideos.com site for this clip. They are now located at http://www.youtube.com/gamesho... .THE ODDS (best to look here only after watching):The odds for all top 4 amounts to be knocked out in the first four openings is 1 in 14,950 (4/26*3/25*2/24*1/23). The odds for the top 4 amounts to be knocked out in descending order is 1 in 358,800 (1/26*1/25*1/24*1/23) - that is just one episode every 1,600 years!!- There have been many comments saying that this is a fake clip. I assure you that even though everybody appears to act "normal", this really did occur. Neither is it a set up. Josh is featured in the Deal or No Deal Hall of Fame on the program's website and in a local newspaper article: http://au.tv.yahoo.com/deal-or... http://www.theage.com.au/news/... There have been many people either wondering why do the people holding the cases guess what they have or being rude to them. Those people are actual contestants too, which explains why not all of them are gorgeous. They guess the amount in their case and if they guess correctly, they win $500 for that. And, yes, there *are* models on the show. They are only featured at the beginning and the end of each episode.- Those who think that the offer of 10¢ is stupid and doesn't make sense should see the humour in it. Since almost nobody takes a Round 1 Bank Offer, the banker showed his sense of humour and decided to offer an extremely low amount to show just how unlucky Josh was.- SPOILER: There have also been many people wondering how much money Josh ended up taking home. Well, he did considerably better than his first offer - he won $10.

my heart goes out to this guy :) .. as written in the description, if he went with odds that were 1 in 14950, that is just plain sad .. hope he has better days forever :)

There was a bad one over here in the UK too, where a contestants' board got worse throughout the show, her second to last offer was 6p which is eqaul to 10c, and her closing offer was £40. Painful.
